It depends on my mood, might go spicy, might go herbal... bacon cooked on a grill is fucking awesome. I like maybe like siracha sauce or horseradish sometimes.

I usually put some fresh jalapeños thru the for processor and mix em into the meat.

I typically wing it with burgers, they're impossible to fuck up

Grilled on a charcoal grill. 80% lean.  The more fat the better:

Form patties with nothing more than some seasoning.  Lay directly over hot coals and cook 6 minutes on one side, then flip.  Cook 6 more minutes then move to cold side, lay cheese on, then cover again.  Pull off, and serve.  ONLY FLIP ONCE, you want the juices to stay inside.

Anything else mixed into the meat is considered meatloaf, not burgers.

Don't cook anything less than well done.  The bacteria lives on the surface of meat, so a steak medium rare is fine, since both surfaces are seared.  When it's ground, however, the meat is all mixed up, as are the bacteria.

Just had burgers for dinner tonight.
Swiss, sauteed portelleo and onions with a bit of mayo and mustard.
As far as the beef I think it was just some salt, pepper and some other season mix tossed in.
At least with goof beef you don't need much, not saying mine was.

Just got the gas grill cleaned working again on Sunday. Almost all of the jets where clogs.
Someday I am gonna get me a new grill. Tired of these second hand ones that where treated like shit.

Recently got a meat grinder attachment for my mixer, gonna have to start grinding my own.

And fuck that, medium rare to medium. 36 years and never been sick not changing now.

It's supposed to hold it together...  But if you cook it right and flip it when it's ready to be flipped (aka don't keep flipping it and fucking with it) you don't need egg.  One flip, cook more, then done.

I only just started eating meat again to help get my weight up.  I'm not a huge fan of the taste of beef, but this burger was delicious.

The patty itself was normal and cooked in a skillet but I topped it with blue cheese, crispy onion bits, a smokey barbeque, and lots of onion, tomato, and lettuce which was served on a whole wheat roll.  Needless to say, I ate like a king.

I'm not a meat eater anymore but...

3:1 ratio of freshly ground beef to andouille sausage (out of casing, chopped in food processor).  Mix minimally adding in fresh pepper, paprika, fresh garlic, onion powder (hate crunchies in my burgers), dash of cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, and that's it.  Salt only goes on after the meat is mixed, as mixing it in toughens the burger a little.  Grind your own beef from chuck making sure to add some beef fat if the chuck is lean, so that your burger can safely be medium-rare.  The only way to eat a burger is medium-rare...
With the andouille added I think all the burger needs is pickles and maybe some mustard.

cow hamburger mixed with deer hamburger mixed with ground thick bacon, flame broiled on a propane grill :hank: seasoned with onion powder, celery salt, marjoram, and  Worcestershire.

then we start with the bottom of a thick cut wheat bun, then Swiss cheese, then the patty, then four slices of thick cut bacon, then sliced rings of a Spanish onion, then seasoned pan-sauteed mushrooms; morels when in season, then another slice of Swiss, then ketchup/mustard, then a thick folded leaf of iceberg lettuce, then some real mayonnaise, a thick slice of tomato, then another slab of mayonnaise, then the top of the wheat bun. all held together with a kebab stick with grilled shrimp on the remaining part of the stick on top of the burger.

Ketchup swirl on both buns, patty cooked with bbq sauce and cheese melted on top with bacon in the melted cheese, oh and lettuce and pickles. But not if the pickles are watery, watery pickles ruin the bun!

Edit: Also only eat Moose or Deer Patties.
