Remember the Rwandan genocide. The world sat by and did nothing, mostly unaware.

In this time, the Internet would have been flooded by Rwandan bloggers and cellphone footage. The aloof media would have been bypassed and congressmen harrassed to take action now.

This is a good thing.

Its a good thing but I cannot help but be so aggravated by people that hop
on this wagon. What about all the other shit goin on in the world? No one
cares to know because someone has not taken the time to make a high quality
short film that ties facebook and social media into it.

You're grasping at about 10 different straws but how I interpret your message is: people don't care unless there are facebook movies made about it.  It is sad that people don't care.  If that is your message, I agree.  However, that shouldn't undermine the legitimacy of organizations that make those movies knowing that they will be effective.

Look. I think its a worth cause. But there are many things the people in
this country should be getting behind probably before this one. Again good cause

What I don't care for anymore, is the US PEOPLE are extremely generous in helping people in countries in famine, with medical supplies, food, etc.  Then they turn around and shit on us.  Or those countries governments steal the stuff and sell it.  Look at North Korea, the US sent them massive amounts of food.  I'm sure their army will be well fed.
