Interview kids in high school you may have smoked joints with? Perhaps it depends on the branch but I know plenty of kids with colorful pasts that are actively enlisted.
But why would you want to join in the first place? I'll pass.
agreed, if you like the smokers lifestyle, don't join. I myself, am in the Army (11 years) and it sucks sweaty balls. The Army recently needed to beef up it's body-count for Iraq and Afghanistan, meaning they would take anyone with a heart-beat a few years ago, and now that we're trying to wind things up and get out of these shit holes, and now that the Army has broken me, caused me to be clinically depressed and now that I've drank EVERY day for the past 2 years, now the Army is trying to thin the herd.
A couple years ago, you couldn't get kicked out for weed if you wanted to, now there is ZERO tolerance. "Thanks fatass for taking a few blasts from IED's, and now that you have PTSD, drink like a son-of-a-bitch, are clinically depressed and have a degenerative foot ailment, we don't need you anymore!"
So I risk taking mushrooms to help with my depression, but boy wouldn't they love to chapter me out for drugs rather than pay me for the rest of my life for what they've turned me into?
