Zapping testicles with ultrasonic pulses shown to be effective contraception.

An ultrasound zap to the testicles can stop the production of sperm, reducing overall sperm count to a level that would render males infertile, according to a new study involving rats. Further studies are needed to see if the procedure could be reversed.

The procedure require two 15 minutes sessions, two days apart. The procedure seems to be painless.

The study has been made by the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

P.S. It is also interesting to know that for some reason, they massaged the testicles of a monkey for 30 minutes, 3 times a week in order to get to these results (When its for science, it ain't fucked up)

I'm guessing the "zaps" kill sperm but do not do permanent damage.  Male sperm have a growth period (maybe like 60 days?) so it just kills sperm, then they come back.

You'd probably need to be treated every month or so.

More research is needed to know if it is reversible or not.
