Help Wanna use a PS2 Emulator got a Light Gun

so was looking for a bit of help. Got a light gun and wanted to download the emulator but wondered if one of you Code Loving Souls could tell me if its as easy as....

then to here... http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Quick-Start-PCSX2-Configuration-Guide-v0-9-8 ; to get the PS2 emulator.


or is there alot more involved i have a video card that outputs to a TV so playing not a problem.
