PTP is the best for movies. tehconnection isn't bad either but doesn't match PTP's collection.

For torrents I use:

www.isohunt.com

For TV shows, I stream them online with:

http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/internet/

and

http://watchseries.eu/

It might not be the BEST, but pretome.net is pretty excellent for movies and TV shows.  It doesn't have older stuff, but EVERY new movie comes out in 1080p, usually before they're released, and shows come up on pretome at least 15 minutes before tvtorrents, sometimes even hours.

Meh.  I like Demonoid too, but most of the tv shows from demonoid that I download are reposts from superseeds.org which I am becoming fond of.  Why not just go to the source?  I like their organization, they have all of today's shows listed on the first page so you don't even have to search for them.  The only problem is that you have to keep your seed ratio ridiculously high or else they ban you...

So yeah, superseeds #1,  Demonoid #2, TPB #3.

If you like British TV at all, you need thebox.bz - I use it for sports cause the BBC coverage is ten times better than anything you get in North America.
