I once choked down 2 cups of that nasty shit at the local Kava Bar. Never again. No relaxation, no buzz, no high. Just nasty, ass flavored water.

There is a generic brand of tea you can find at wal-mart, that yogi tea or whatever. They have a relaxation brand with a tiny bit of kava extract it in. You just gotta read the ingredients

My mom loves it and its entertaining to watch her drink it.

yep. didn't get a huge dose but it was interesting. pretty weak though for what i was given, i feel. it reminded me of like 5mg oxycodone with different effects

do you take kratom? i just drank my first cup of this tea. i feel kinda warm and possibly slightly relaxed. gonna try another. i want to get some from konakavafarm.com though. i actually have a friend who's tongan who drinks it all the time i guess and he said he can get me some tongan kava that is really dank too

I did take kratom when that Lucid Herb Cafe was a sponsor and now I can't find his link. I made anywhere from 7-10 grams into tea, drank that and ate the nasty powder shit in the bottom of the pan, and got good buzzes. I am interested in trying kava. Seen a lot of people on here give good reports, but heard of liver problems if you take to much or some shit like that.

that liver problem was actually from people using the wrong part of the plant in medicines. it's actually supposed to be pretty good for you, but yeh i mean it could possibly be hard on your liver

That would make sense, yeah I didn't read into it too much yet just remember seeing a report on here or erowid. Can't be anyworse than tylenol and drinking heavily.

it definitely works, you just gotta drink alot, or take alot of extract. i love the no tolerance/no withdrawl aspect of it, and it gets me so much more drunk(?) than tequila can do for me anymore. the tea bag products probably won't affect you unless maybe take the whole box. some brands of kava can't get me high at all, but just sick, so it's suggested to stick with well known distributors, growing locations, and well known strains. soy lecithin is what helps to emulsify the kavalactones making them more available, although i don't use it. it also works best on an empty stomach, or very little food, then eat a meal after it peaks or if you don't want to get any higher. it can get you too high, to where you wish you hadn't taken so much.

ive been lucky enough to work with tongans and other pacific islanders and they gave me tons for free, imported from over there,pretty good high, but i didnt do it much. if you live in an area with pacific islanders em about it, they laughed their ass off when i told em i tried smoking it.
