Everything I've been thinking up to now, and every philosophy I've read, and all the metaphysical speculation I've encountered, seems to totally miss the point.

You come alive and you see the day through, you work hard, you laugh, you get angry, you fuck around with your hobbies and occasionally glance around and take it the simple awesomeness of what is presently going on, even if it's just trees swaying, and you wonder: "why the fuck was I asking questions?"

It's like we can't even grasp what's going on, because we ARE what's going on, not as an extension of yourself or anything, as if you looked outside yourself in a certain peculiar way you'd be enlightened, but that the state you're looking for, is you... and there's nothing but it, and you know that when you go there.

It's not intellectual, it's not physical, it's not obvious, it's somewhere else in the mind or perhaps above/beyond it. You don't see, but you know...

This is annoying, I have no original thought, never figured anything out myself, just too damned stupid. Gratitude for Alan Watts, Timothy Leary and Terence McKenna for the most satisfying explanations. Without the words of these people my reality would be far more lonely and drunk. There are many others who I've learned from too. But I agree, what can I say that I was not told? nothing! I am so full of shit and I'm going to puke.
