why are the munchies so strong

i just smoked some really good cannabus today after not smoking for about a week. the munchies make me want to overstuff myself, especially when i haven't smoked in awhile. lol maybe it's cuz i didn't eat enough earlier in the day and my muscles are hella worn out from riding my bike all the time?

it seems to happen other times too though. da munchies make me lose control of my consumption. i need super healthy super foods to munch on :yesnod:

How long does it last for? I'm getting pretty annoyed with those withdrawals. Not being able to sleep and having problems concentrating in class is what pisses me off the most :bored:

Yeah dude I wake up at like 5-6 in the morning and just roll around in the bed. Then when its time to get up I feel totally exhausted both mentally and physically. My stomach feels funny and I forget to eat but then I get stomach acid and... :huxleyfacepalm:

I noticed that a lil bit of alcohol helps before sleep. I think I might try some paracetamol to inhibit those endocannabinoid reuptake transporters.

I went from several grams a day to nothing at all.

i'm surprised it hasn't gone away yet. if it was me, i would just get up at 5-6am if i really couldn't sleep and go for a run/bike ride. burn the shit out of your system faster (i'm assuming you're still detoxing)

I would work out in the mornings and walk during the evenings so I would be worn out and hungry and force myself to eat if I could.

If I remember correctly it lasted about a week for me before I felt normal again and that weird cloud feeling disappeared and I could think faster ha.

Well that stomach business is something I can live with. What really bothers me is that I cannot read. Not literally but I can't hold my attention long enough to finish a single paragraph.

I am very tempted to eat some amps tho I've been saving them for the end of the semester when I really need stamina and concentration.

Eat a fresh mango about an hour or two before a smoke session.  I'd read a long time ago how mangoes contain terpenes that basically get your more high when you smoke weed.  Apparently the more ripe the mango, the more developed the terpenes (and the sweeter the mango too) and the higher you get.  I forgot about all this because mangoes weren't in season  at the time and one day someone made a thread about it on here and I remembered the mango thing I'd read about a while back.  Anyway so I ate a mango about 2 hours before I smoked.  I don't know if I got more high but I didn't get a single urge to eat and munchies usually hit me hard.  The girl I was dating at the time had the same effect.  I think there's something to this.
