Why does the Shroomery keep OTD? * 9

Seriously, how does OTD add anything to this great community? Isn't it just a place of repugnant people talking about repugnant topics and posting disgusting pictures? Just trolling and insulting people? Is there something I'm missing or is the place just for assholes to be assholes?

There's a bit of fun to be had in that forum; granted, it their shenanigans are getting a little old but I see no harm in it especially as it's hidden from the public view until you're a member & there's plenty of warnings anyway so you know what to expect before entering.

I will also add that the glory days of OTD are pretty much over anyway. Most of the best  and original members have already left and what's left is a bunch of people competing to be the next badass.

I don't go there anymore after I saw there is nothing worthwhile/interesting/stimulating.

I would say the era of when Toad was kicking around was the best for OTD, back when it had more diverse characters and plausible content. Now it's void of interesting discussion but still worth having around for shits and giggles.

Anyone who has the time/motivation to post necros, then go randomly insulting people for no reason (and having multiple thousands of posts of this shit I might add) is definitely a social reject.

If you had a point I missed it. If you are talking about the DO NOT ENTER point, I don't go in there anyway. I am just perplexed as to why anyone wants to keep that worthless forum. That was the point of this thread, and my question has been answered. People who enjoy OTD are just obnoxious assholes and sick fucks, just as it appears in the surface. I was just kind of wondering if there was something I was missing.
