Deadliest Catch and lobstering
    #14758639 -

I just started watchin this show this year. Theres so much drivel on t.t to sift through nowadays, but atleast i can relate to this drivel lol!

Being a fisherman for most of my youth was a fukin harsh experiance for a kid that should be playin video games and bopin the dolphin to national geographic.

Wakin up at the asscrack of dawn to head to the wharf and listen to old saltydogs talk about the weather before climbing down the slime covered ladder to the skiff was just the beginin.

You had to row the captain out to the boat( my captain was 350+ 6'3" x navyseal UDT-13 underwater demo team) so needless to say we looked like a monkey fuckin a football rowin out to the boat with him bout sinkin the tiny skiff.

My arms already about to fall off from rowing, he had me bring the boat intot he wharf to get bait n fuel. If you even fart sideways every Dbag at the wharf is droolin to sling comments at you as u try to jig the boat into postion for bait.

The bait comes down in 10gal. buckets dripping blood, guts, salt and rotton pus basicly on ur head and you load it into a box and put salt on it.
Fuel aint so bad cept onetime(hungover) i put diesel straight into the eng block! HA! were the oil res. is. Captain fukin loved that one.

Getn away from the wharf is a feelin of relief after that round and were headed out into open water! I have to cram rotton, stankass Herring into mesh bags before we get to the traps.

Geting to the first string of traps the Capn misses the bouy and slams the gaff down on the washboard hurling profanity. He takes the wheel in his monster paw and spins it hard to port to circle around it.

The trap comes up and its full! Fulla lobsters, crabs, conks, and sea urchins. As im tearing at the trap tryin to empty it the capn is full steam ahead to the next trap wich is within site always.

Lobsters will bite the shit outta anything they can, crabs are even worse, sea urchins will give u fish poisin very easly and you take out the old bait bag n tie in a fresh one.

Its alot different workin on a boat and being on one relaxing. It wears your body out instantly trying to correct your balance nonstop, so your always in a drunken stagger.

Seeing the sun rise in the morning on the water was breathtaking, and the fresh air was delightfull, but when you went home at night u knew you earned your fukin munnys lol.  $100-500 aday isnt bad, but some times in the season u didnt make enuff to cover ur lunch expenses.

Deadliest Catch is 10x crazier then lobstering it looks like, but just the deckhands make a years pay ina couple months king crabbin.

And oh yah, if you have to shit, u shit in a5gal. bucket and heave it over. Ever tried sitting ona bucket?

Yes, it is. The shine stands for his job title, which is Shoe Shiner, the moon stands for the time he comes out to be a nigger, which is best suited for the negroid camouflage.

I actually like Deadliest Catch, but I agree that those other shows are dumb. It amazes me how they can make shows of such stupid shit.

Millions of King Crab are mysteriously migrating to the antarctic for the first time in 40 million years. I am going to tap this new resource and start the first antarctic king crab fishing industry.
Anyone care to join me?

All we gotta do is get all the seasons of deadliest catch on disc and we will know everything there is to know.

Yah def. stupid shit on t.v. , its just the idea of king crabbin and the shit they go through not the reality show side of it.

You may find the show boring, but if you got on a boat to go trip fishing it would be anything but boring.

Sometimes they catch crab/lobster.
And sometimes they don't.
But sometimes they do.
And then, sometimes they don't.
But other times... They do.
