I know you're not God because an omniscient, omnipotent, etc. being would not be asking questions about the universe, let alone posting on the shroomery.

As for the rest of what you said, I don't have anything to counter your opinions and I in no way implied I knew an objective truth about the topic. What I was pointing out in your post was how you use vague terms "seems" and "i doubt" and then ended it by saying "the end," as if YOU had some objective truth.

Has a reason to act ever existed for you? If so, then reasons to act can exist.


Actions can be meaningful to us, but what I'm wondering is if they are meaningful on the scale of existence as a whole. If we take what Bashar to be the truth, which I am with my question, then we know that our personal reasons aren't necessarily the truth since we humans have created innumerable reasons for existence throughout time.

As it is talked about in the video everything at the level of existence is equal and meaning is no different than pleasure or a steering wheel. If it exists, it exists.

I can see what you're saying, but that meaning isn't real in a way outside of the person giving it that meaning. As he says right away, existence just is, therefore when, say, you're girlfriend breaks up with you, it just is. You can say it's because of xyz, but there's no real truth behind that.

Yeah, I dig what you're saying too. The truth isn't shallow but endlessly deep. There's nothing to stand on. I think it's a good realization to have :thumbup:
