couchsurfing pitfalls

I'm sleeping on my friend's couch right now and two of the worst things that can possibly happen to a couchsurfer are currently happening.

1) One of my hosts has had an alarm clock going off every five minutes for the past few hours. How the fuck do you live with that? I'd sooner smash my alarm clock than sleep with it going off every five minutes for hours on end. :argh: Fucking depressing.

2) I HAVE TO PISS AND BOTH THE BATHROOMS ARE IN THE LOCKED BEDROOMS OF PEOPLE WHO ARE STILL SLEEPING

I definitely feel you on the alarm thing.
My buddy has his cell phone alarm go off every 4 minutes from 9 to 10 EVERY SINGLE MORNING.
Weekends, days he's not working... Doesn't matter.
He's afraid he'll mess up his alarm or forget to turn it back on for a day when he works. :facepalm:

I don't even understand how he sleeps through it; doesn't that defeat the purpose of an alarm??

One time I was couch surfing and I had to take a shit. Guy thought it would be funny to lock the door a laugh his ass off behind it. I shit in his garbage can with no bag in it in his room...

Sometimes you just have to shit in a bag and blame it on the cat.  I had several shitting disasters while hostelling.  Fucking port had locked all the toilets...  I was banking on those toilets.

At least you havn't woken up with a sore ass yet.  Unless you like that sorta thing  :undecided:
