zicam's active ingredients are Zincum Aceticum and Zincum Gluconicum

Zicam makes several different products.  The cough formula does contain DXM.  You're probably thinking of the zicam lozenges or the zicam nasal gel.

Oh... not all zicam though, there's a certain kind that only has DXM as an active ingredient... if you take off the cap and pour it out its like 1 shot and contains 300~ or 400~ mg of DXM.

Oh, I see. I'm looking at the Zicam cold remedy oral mist. I've never seen any of the ones with DXM.

They make a DXM concentrate spray.  Its got somewhere between 350 and 400 mgs/bottle I think.  They at least used to have these quick dissolve tablets too that were 15 mgs each I think.

They've been a little difficult to find lately (as have robo gels..) but I'm pretty sure they're still around.

I think its called Zicam Cough Max spray.  Its more expensive than cough syrup but there's no cough syrup.. so that's cool.  Still tastes like ass since its packed with DXM but its a bit better.

Well my experience was not disgusting as far as taste but the effects were a different story. Me and my wife had some friends over for a party around the time we were experimenting with "legal highs" not that we were limiting our consumption to those. Well long story short after taking antidepressants, amphetamine and smoking pot we decided to try out some 20x salvia and that was where it took a turn for the worst. Me trying to be the Alfa-Male desided I was going first! Well at the time we were sitting on the couch watching Family Guy on a bright 42" HDTV and having a good time. Anyway I packed the bowl and managed to take two deep hits before everything but the Television started to fade! the TV started to shoot pulses of painful light-gravity at me that pinned me to the couch unable to move with every pulse. Meanwhile, Brian and Louis from Family Guy were calling me a pussy and an idiot for not being able to move. Well I decided to prove them wrong by rolling off the couch, landing in the floor and then crawling away from the TV. Brian and Louis continued to poke fun at me until eventually getting back to the script and the storyline at which time the room slowly started to reappear. I also awoke to a crowed of people staring at me like an idiot and asking if I was ok. I quickly picked myself up and said "I'm fine! Whos next?"

I took a half of fresh shrooms with two other friends (a half and a quarter, respectively) with "Funny People" on one TV and "Fear and Loathing" on the other. Needless to say, I felt like a lawyer in a bathtub.

I don't know about combining any concoction but anyone ever tried lion's tail?  That shit is almost like drinking/smoking something pissy smelling.  I still have it all in the bags I bought them in haha.  Just can't get the taste out of your mouth even with gum or good yummy liquids. bleh.

Never tried it alone though.. but I think I know that strange pissy smell of which you speak having bought a blend in the past that contained it.
