Pubmed journals anyone?
    #14056411 -

Yeah well it unfortunately got rejected due to low citations and other concise problems, I need access to full journals now. Mostly Pub-med.

How would I go about doing this? Does anyone have access that can help me out?

I have 15-40 journals that I need full access to, mostly exclusively on pub-med. Ill pay if need be, I just need to know how to do it.

Any advice or anyone that can help me out with these journals?

:uh:

Seriously though, you might have better luck asking on an article-by-article basis.

Well, you're gonna have to find someone who will go find each of those articles out of the goodness of his/her heart, I think.

Anyone here willing to do that? Either that or point me in a direction I can pay? Again if this has any validity it must be investigated.

*Sigh* I don't see why its so hard to try to find correct information without some sort of academic tie. I understand the inability to publish but not the inability to get correct information.

Your cheapest bet is too join a university library -- most allow it -- the major Uni around here is in the $150.00 range.  This link might help you narrow things down based on your location: http://about.jstor.org/participate-jstor/participants.

On second thought, you could go to your local library and get the journals you need on inter-library loan for free.

Fuck, I dont know if Im going to get the credit for curing this. I just found one doctor that is looking into the same thing as me and actually has found an approach in helping the core symptoms. One doctor.

Man this completely kills my hope. I guess if I write a better report and give specific instructions on how this is done, how it can be seen as a disease both psychologically, psychologically, and how it effects the population I guess that would be more.. of a "discovery" would it not?

Thank you.

Unfortunately since it is so hard to get any help, Im going to have to write a complete paper from scratch, from everything to psychology to chemical psychology and its tie with neurology and how it effects people that are living there lives today.

This is going to be a lot more work then I thought and now Im going to need a new copyright -_-

Paying per article is ridiculous.

As others have said, your best bet is to find a friend or colleague at a library who has access.  You might look into a public access portal at a University.  If you can gain this, you may be able to download them.

Typically, institutions don't have access to "pubmed", rather, the specific journals archived by pubmed.  However, many institutions do have interlibrary loana agreements which grant access to all titles.

Also, you could take a shot at posting the reference list.  Good hearted members may help you get them.  I could get you several, but don't have the time to look up and download 30+ titles.

As for the review, typically you're rejected outright, or after peer-review.  If an article wasn't sent for peer-review, pick a new journal.

Fortunately I did pick the correct journal, its just getting past peer review now. My original paper was pretty concise and thorough but it did not build on everything it needed to.. so now I have to go to the basics of psychology and try to explain the pathology and change in developments that occur, using evidence which wont be to hard to find.

Its just going to be a shit load work then I thought and Im really lazy to begin with

Abstracts tell me most of what I need to know but I need specifics now so I can follow it down the path, to help completely explain my paper.

EDIT: if you guys dont mind. I will try to request a few papers from you guys, most I can find for free if I look hard enough. Im currently sorting through what I need and what I can get. Then I need to unfortunately read more, and probably get a few citation journals as-well. Old ones.

I wish I was a doctor, this would be 100 times easier.

lol my paper is no where near finished I guess. I need to start from the very beginning. I can send you the old one, but it wont give you much other then what has already been hypothesized with a few other theories involved that I need to unfortunately search far and wide for evidence for.

Ah, just find some guy from Bangalore and let him do the writing. That'll save you the time you need right now to work out the physics stuff you're planning. I mean, this medical thingy here will probably change mankind, but your physics stuff is going to change the world

This is no joke, Shroomery. There is a new age of Enlightenment at hand, and the very source of it is amongst us! Now give this guy a hand and help him with getting hold of those articles. I'll see where I can chip in myself.
