i was trying to agree with the damn thread.

i really have always hated valentine's day just as equally as every other consumer holiday, and i openly admitted that putting any value into it is a result of brainwashing, and i already said that I was ashamed of being the least bit excited.


i definitely wouldn't classify it as a "newfound passion" for valentines day, lol, but yes.... my boyfriend knew that i wanted to do something for it. the reason for that is mainly because we have been having problems lately, and I was for the most part just excited for us to have a night together that is finally just romantic and cliche and worry free, but whatever, I know it's dumb either way. And I also wasn't expecting anything big at all, I literally told him to get me the most cliche valentines day shit ever like a box of chocolates and a stuffed animal or whatever because that's all I fucking wanted haha.... I just wanted the vday experience ONE TIME to see what all the hype about was okay so fucking sue me
