A dedicated movie nerd has undertaken the task of calculating how long Phil was stuck in that Groundhog Day loop.

The answer: 33 years and 358 days

I've never seen Groundhog Day... I remember catching clips as a tiny boy but obviously it didn't hold interest for me... Obviously I'm missing out?

I live in Pennsylvania, too.

It is a good flick you are missing out not seeing the whole thing once. It was set in penn but really filmed about 45 minutes away from me. I used to take the train out there as a kid to that town and get picked up by my grandparents.
