I love how as soon as it snows, even in snowy states, everyone seems to go completely retarded.
People forget how to drive..i think they're overreacting

Oh yeah, here they all rush to the grocery store to buy milk, bread and eggs right before. It's nuts around here sometimes.

Yeah try living in MI, not only northern mi weather, but lake affect aswell.. We get dumped on being born in S. Florida this weather, isn't quite for me! so I feel your pain! your beautiful btw.

Gotta love living in Texas..... Its normally never cold enough to snow and when it does its never a ridiculous amount although I'm near Austin so its not too common to get snow. We've had a cold front this week but I'm sure it won't last too long

I lived in Kilgore since September until in December. Then I moved back home to MA.
I loved it. Texas is nice.

BLIZZARD WARNING FROM 3 P.M. TUESDAY TO 3 P.M. WEDNESDAY. Light snow flurries from a wintry overcast much of the day. NE winds strengthen 14 to 28 mph. Gusts topping 30 mph before evening. Steady storm snowfall spreads in from the south mid and late afternoon. Full-blown blizzard this evening and tonight. Serious blowing/drifting as gusts build to 40-50 mph. Bursts of thunder-snow and periods with less than a quarter mile visibility. Blizzard or near blizzard conditions persist into Wednesday morning. Totals: 18-29 inches by Wednesday afternoon.

I'm thinking about moving somewhere tropical. Winter isn't usually this bad... and I get the feeling before we know it we'll all be living in the equivalent to Canada...

I would if I didn't work in the service industry. Unfortunately, the snow started RIGHT when I was heading to work, so I got to go in for like three hours then they sent me home... took an hour to drive home. Tomorrow i"m supposed to be in at 9 again. With my luck, the snow will allow for a grace period right around then so I still have to go in...

I'd disagree with that. Last winter was a namby pamby foo-foo winter. This one's ballsier, but I don't see any long term trends. We get a lot of snow on average man, par for the course.

But then, I'm moving my ass to somewhere where that ain't so anyway.
