Great game, but you could have just torrented it.

Either way have fun.

Sounds pretty cool from the Wiki description... how does it compare to, say, Neverwinter Nights?

Well, it's NOT NWN that's for sure, although It's the very awesome
predecessor.  It's hard to compare the two, even though they are very
similar in game play and appearance, but I will anyways :smirk:

In Torment, you don't get to choose your class right off the bat, but in
Stat generation you can plan ahead what you want to do (Fighter, thief,
wizard... a short list!)

The movement and even Battle sequences are so similar to NWN1 it's rather
uncanny, despite the graphical differences and lack of feats (they use AD&D
rules; still rocking the THaCo/no feats).

I must say though it is a very enjoyable game to play, just to be immersed in
Planescape is worth it.

I found it at a Trading Post :dancing:
game/book/movie swapping is what I do best there.

Yes, unbelievable. The graphics aren't anything compared to modern games, but the backgrounds are hand drawn and are gorgeous. I've replayed it like 5 times, usually with the same party

See that's what I'm talking about, a game with replay value
of FIVE TIMES for someone, who I am assuming is a D&D geek/dude/etc?

I'll pick it up too if it is that awesome (i love 2D hand drawn art )

I cannot stand D&D games and I own all these games.  Original boxes and everything.

Icewind Dale doesn't stand a chance next to Baldur's Gate or Planescape, story-wise anyway.  But it's still an excellent game.

FUCK 3D GRAPHICS.
