I've got Netflix in Canada, like to watch from my Wii.
There's lots of fun stuff, as long as you're willing to be creative with search terms.
Have to remember to watch Thankskilling, it looks silly.

I actually prefer watching netflix content on my PS3. For the simple reason that the wii doesn't have HD content.

I like it.
The quality of blu-ray discs is still far superior to anything streamed IMO. I don't watch more than a couple movies a week, so it's just as convenient to walk to the mailbox.

This is the one time I have to side with capitalism. The Blockbuster/small-town rental shop model is dead. I should spend more money, drive to and back to the rental store and be charged late fees so the shop owner/chain can benefit? Don't think so man.

Pretty poor selection in terms of up to date content.
But the documentary and nature section is top drawer. If you like BBC/PBS style docs its well worth it.
I wonder, I had tried to stream netflix through my xbox360 and it sucked ass. You need to use a computer and push the video to it using some weird method. Using a computer you get a lot of browsing. On the 360 you have a small selection from what they want you to see. I wonder if that is just what you are seeing?
Oh and watch "The Universe" "Yellowstone: Battle for Life(all 3 episodes)"

I've got both, and the quality was far superior coming from the Wii. My PS3 had very poor resolution.

I haven't had any of those problems streaming to my roommates 360. I love it. They've also added more movies and added a search feature. It's so great.

i cant understand how people do this..
if i try to pirate a movie that is still in the theater the quality is always god fucking awful.. id rather wait 3 months and grab the bluray rip.
some movies it doesnt really matter.. others its blasphemy to even consider watching it on anything smaller than a 50" display in full HD..

Netflix has a pretty wide-selection of very watchable documentaries. I just finished watching The Vice Guide to Travel, and Bomb this! I recommend those, and Exit through the Gift shop to anyone.

I have it an like it somewhat I have had two dvds here for over a month an have not watched either should have sent them back long ago. Thats a big problem for me, when the video stores were around here you pretty much watched them in a day or two cause if you didnt you got a late charge.

You have a point about late charges, that was big motivators for people to watch movies in a certain time frame.

I live in Canada, So all we have here is the streaming version. I find the selection to be pretty decent (even though the USA version has a TON of more content)
Thought, suggestions.....
I have heard Hulu is pretty cool to, although I'm geo-locked from using it. I have tried using proxy servers...but they all suck, or get shut down :0(
