Grit weed started in Britain if i recall.
It's bud that's been sprayed down with silica, as someone mentioned earlier, and was/is noticeably "gritty"
it was a bit more harsh, but not horribly from what i hear. But it would leave your throat and lungs feeling sore for a while after.
You could seriously take a nug and rub it on a piece of glass and it would leave scratches, albeit small, scratches none the less.

there was a small scare of it in new england about 4 years ago. I'll assume it has reached other areas of america at some point in the past as well.

I highly doubt any weed out there is being laced, and if there is it's very very very uncommon. Sure I've heard of that "grit weed" thing, makes sense as far as adding weight or trying to make the buds appear with more trichomes.



But why would someone selling weed want to lace it? They would be losing money on the drugs they're using to lace the bud with. And if I got weed that tasted weird, or gave me a noticeably weird of different high I would not buy from that person again.

Oh, and as far as the vape temps go. Different strains have various temps at which they will vaporize at. And some buds that still have a little bit of moister in them will appear to "vape" at lower temps, but it's just the residual moisture evaporating.

That's a bad example. They don't ALL look like that. It just makes the weed look coated in crystals,looks nice and should be sticky as you'd expect but it's not. The weed,although it smells nice doesn't really taste much of anything. All the while you're inhaling that shit and it's cutting up your throat and what else.

The problem with it being in circulation is much bigger than you simply refusing to buy off your dealer. The people at the top don't give a shit,they push out a product,the guys they give it to don't really have a choice,things need to move like a well oiled machine and them complaining about grit weed is going to slow the machine down. Money,money,money. As sick as it is. You can still get clean weed but I don't even trust it,fuck that shit. When mine runs out I'm giving up until next time round,not worth the hassle.

no they would not lose money, because people buy way less pot than highly addictive drugs and dont sell everything they own for it. not that much of a drug would have to be used to make it a much more 'hot' product. furthermore, if you got sold a highly addictive drug, there is a good chance that you might just come back for more of it, seeing as it is highly addictive!!!

not that much difference between strains as was recognized. not to mention differences in the vapor cloud.

thats cool its what you think, but ive taken some time checking into it. maybe its different in your parts, but this stuff is definitely goin on.

Dude, again...If my weed was giving me some sort of weird effects, and an obvious addiction. I would not continue buying from the same dealer. I think most people wouldn't either

If the bud is laced, it's going to be obvious. Most people buying weed aren't looking to get spun or tweaked out. Why would they continue to buy that weed.


Let me ask you this, what types of drugs are you talking about weed being laced with?...

Since when are we talking about weed being laced with drugs?

I've only heard of weed being laced with things to make it weigh more,adding to profit,not looking for the consumer to get extra high...

I saw grit weed once.

In highschool we got it from this weird girl who no one really knew. She was a hipster and not very good looking. The weed was in small heavy hard nugs and left a thick grey residue in a pipe after smoking.

She sold it to my friend who was a total noob AND shorted him. we raised hell to her over the phone and got her to come back by and give us more of the horrible stuff.

this may be going on and i am sure it is, but it i,s certainly NOT the norm.

i have never had laced weed taht i didnt lace myself in over 6 years of smoking quite a bit.



i do believe that it isnt just a myth but idk...certainly not happening with MOST of the weed out there..

i am VERY sensitive to stimulants and am positive that i would know immediately if i was smoking weed laced with meth or amps or anything like that.

also i have heard of the grit weed and i am also positive i have never smoked it.

i live in Indiana...
