i've found wallets and check books before.


i returned em'.



cept once when there was no ID in the wallet, just some single bills. :shrug: not much you can do about that.

dude apparently lives in my apartment complex. makes sense since i found it in the parking lot.  amazing the things you overlook stoned. anyway, my roommate ran into him while outside and got it back to him. i was still asleep, but im told he was really happy to get his wallet back, and did give 20 dollars as a thank you. so all is well, hopefully this good gesture will make him think twice about blowing up the bus station.

Good job man.:thumbup: I've had my wallet returned to me a few times with the cash still in it, so I always try to do the same in a similar situation. Karma and all that spiritual bullshit aside, I think people are more likely to do the honorable thing in the future when they've been on the receiving end of it in the past.

Maybe he really was a terrorist, and your display of good will as an american has made him reconsider it all.:hehehe:

that always sux to lose a wallet. i dont think ive ever had one returned to me, there was one time on a trip i lost a wallet with like $60 (may have been $160), and the person took it to lost and found after yanking the cash. i was tweaked financially and that really fucking sucked.

another time i left it at a table accidentally, and that was it, never saw it again.

another time it was stolen on a roadtrip with some friends in tempe arizona, while i was in the pool or something. I was responsible financially for getting us home, and food and everything else. on top of that i decided to take acid afterwards and had a really bad trip (i guess that one is on me, dont take acid when bad shit has just happened to you, and you have no way of supporting yourself should the situation go sour). on top of that those motherfuckers ran up my credit and debit cards and emptied them out. the banks were cool enough to dismiss them as fraud though. 10 years or so later, i still never want to go back to arizona.


for a long time i wouldnt even use a wallet because i just lost that shit every time. so ya its pretty cool that you returned it fully loaded man, in fact thats really fucking cool. I think lately there have been some cool people who have returned my cellphone or things of equal importance, and its always super fucking cool when they do. I always return the favor to the karma pool if i can.

I once lost my cellphone and posted the number to it on here so that someone could talk to whoever found it and direct them to my apartment.:lol:

Yeah, it worked, I thin it was fee, though it's been a few years so it may have been someone else. I gave them the address and name of the apartment complex.
