found a wallet...

fist time this ever happened to me, im usually the guy losing it. anyway, i picked it up with the full intention to return it to its rightful owner. so of course i had to at least snoop through it a little to find out who this guy is.

well, my racial profiling skills leads me to believe this man may be a terrorist. dude totally looks like a terrorist, with a towel on his head and everything. plus in its contents there is a united arab emirates id card, 310 durhams, 50 dollars, and 5 euros.

also there are these 5 pictures of some really creepy ass looking kids, with some kind of numerical code on the back of each... more than likely secret terrorist launch codes or something. this thing is seriously weird. i showed it to my brother and his girlfriend, she thought it was a some kind of prank i was playing on her or something.

but ya, all bs aside i dont really think hes a terrorist, its just fun to think that way when stoned. and you never really know, he could be. nothing in the wallet has an address on it, so im probably just going to take it to the bank he banks at at drop it off with one of the tellers. im sure theyll get it back to him ok.

the real question is, should i take the 50 bucks?finders fee? i could really use the extra cash.


i probably wont take it though, i just really want to. lol.

I lost my wallet riding my bike home from the bar. The dude found it in the middle of the street and tracked me down the next morning. Good karma all around.

Supposedly you can just drop a lost wallet in a mailbox and the PO will take care of it, not sure if that's correct, though.

But if you give it back it's good karma all around, no bad karma anywhere in the equation that sounds better to me.

i am going to show it off to some of my friends though, all you need are a few passports and a gun and you got the whole kit. maybe its the wallet of some hardcore spy hunter double agent assassin type and i just got mixed up in a story fit for the big screen. oh ya, my pot taste like fruity loops.

and yes, i am going to fight the urge to buy another sack of weed and return it with all its contents. is the bank a good idea? other than that i got the college, or the police station. ive never heard of the mail box thing, is that true? if so theres nothing in it with an address... wold that matter?

I would imagine it would need an address in it to work. Apparently they also take loot from the walet, or charge it to whoever is getting it if there is none (my old roommate claims he got his wallet back a few times with a bill for like a dollar from the PO, and he was a pretty honest dude).

I say finders fee...
I mean, sure, he might need the money, but you found his wallet and he should be grateful you're even returning it. A lot of people would take all the cash and leave it on the street, like I would. If you lose cash, in my opinion, it's not yours anymore.
