I don't know if Chapman believed Lennon wrote the song. Probably not. The fact that it was released by the Beatles would probably have been enough for him anyway. I just found the synchronicites interesting.

Yeah, but in the clip he says "Helter Skelter, a song John Lennon.......", as if he was about to say that Lennon wrote it.
