How far does your procrastination take you?

as far as college and/or work situations ?

just did a 12 page research paper in practically 2 days.
i also almost always wait until the -day of- to do various assignments due later on (papers/etc.)
i couldn't say there was a time when i didn't wait till a day before/day-of to study for an exam/quiz...
if i look at my assignments on the previous days, i have no motivation to even look at it.:shrug:

Same here.

Even if I try to do stuff ahead... sit down at the computer and try to start working... I will still find something else to waste my time doing. Some REALLY pointless stuff too.

I'm not sure how it works in the states, but where I live, every year in University has a determined number of subjects. Something like 5 or 6 per semester. And you gotta pass them all. The catch is, there's no deadline. If you fail a subject by the end of the year, you continue to sit for it until you pass.

Well, I've taken two years to finish one.

I hate procrastinating. I always feel the job looming over me and I can't enjoy my free time unless it really actually is free time.

even though i constantly feel like this, it still doesnt motivate me enough to do the assignment. it just continues to bother me for days/weeks on end regardless of how much i wish i just had it done and over with. i tell myself im not gonna procrastinate every single time but without fail just end up fucking around on the computer all day long. ive currently been putting off my english paper for some time now and its really starting to bother me- havent even picked my topic yet but the rough draft is due in like 2 days. ugh im gonna hate myself so much tomorrow.

Eh, my schoolwork hasn't really caught up and bit me in the ass yet.. probably due to the fact that it's mostly just readings

But, I usually finish everything a day before it's due.. It helps that i find time during work to finish my homework.

I procrastinate everything....
its a problem i am thinking about correcting..
but who knows if i will ever get to it

My goal after I dropped out of high school was to get my GED
And then
Go to college.

It took me a year after dropping out to do that.

So far, it's been a year since I've had my GED and no college yet.

I keep looking at the site, going to the college I want and walking around. But havnt gotten the energy to sign up.

I'll do it.. Tomorrow! <--- Repeat this step.

I had a five page research paper due today. Started on it last night but got it done!
I've had over a month to do it but lo and behold i procrastinate none the less.

:lol: my 12 pg paper was assigned the first night of my class, and i waited until 2 days before the deadline to finish it:shrug:
i also have 2 other papers due tmrw, and an exam in my a.m. class .

I have a 5 pg wiki, two 5pg research papers, another 8 pager, an oral presentation w/ powerpoint as well as six 2pg papers based off of notes and videos. For one of my papers I have to finish a 300pg book that I'm an 1/8 of the way through. Everything needs to be done by Dec. 10. I thought I was gonna get a lot of work done during break but I got high, ate a lot of food, and went out with friends, leaving me time to finish only two papers.

btw all of this has been assigned at the beginning of the semester. Been spending too much time at the procrastination station
