Will vegging with flourescents/cfls reduce yield? (marijuana)

Lets compare two plants, A and B

Plant A is grown under a 400 watt HPS to a specific size. Plant B is grown under flourescent and/or CFLs to the same size as Plant A. Now take both plants and put them under the 400 watt HPS and flower. Will the bud be different between A and B?

I'm actually thinking of flowering one plant quickly because I'm impatient, keeping the other plants under flourescent, then growing them big to get a good harvest...

To answer your question the plants assuming there clones of the same strain will flower the same no matter what they where vegged under,  and if you provide enough lumens of fluorescent  light you can equal the vegetative growth of the hps because you can lean the spectrum of the flouros to the blue end and the plants prefer that during veg and they prefer the red orange light of the hps during flower

You're gonna need a lot of fluorescents to equal 50,000 lumens. 

If you're just impatient, than do it.  But being impatient is not a good quality when growing weed.  I remembering picking a small bud off a plant that was a few weeks from harvest and then microwaving it to dry it.  :facepalm3:

Ya I agree a 400hps will have more vegetation on it.. unless you have a shit ton of cfl/t5.. but then again try it out and tell us

I still have yet to try Salvia.  I don't know what I'm waiting for, there's a place close that sells it.  Maybe I'm still scared of that place I've heard so much about.

I enjoyed my 5-Meo-DMT trips, so I plan to take a journey soon.

  A Teklight 4 bulb T5HO 4 foot setup with a 2x overdriven 2 bulb T8 setup hung from each side. It cost me around $400. 
The fucking thing grew a jungle under it because it penetrated the canopy so well because it isn't just a point light like an HPS would be. It is a wall of light and penetrates canopies from many many angles.
I had at one time a bunch of plants under it and they had totally thick lush growth all the way to the base of the plants "1.5 foot". They did not lose their lower leaves at all and they were nice and green.
Once they went into flower and under the 1000w HPS they were MONSTERS.
