Last year, after the Steelers won the super bowl, they lost to the Chiefs and Raiders.

King of reminds me of what's happening to the Saints.

It's really frustrating.  It's like you know they have the potential to play great, but they are just looking absolutely awful and you can't figure out why they can't pull their shit together.  I have never seen Brees play so poorly

I watched that game at the bar I work at, and if there is one thing about the Browns I like, it is their fans.  A lot of teams will get all riled up and annoying as shit after they beat the Saints, come into the bar yelling and gloating, and going on.... not the Browns fans.  Every one of them was completely respectful, and equally as surprised as we were.

Next week is going to be fun, though

I can't wait to see the Steelers come to town.

eh honestly my team's not been looking as dominant as the start of the season.  It's still a toss up cuz I respect the Saints still.

It's whatevers, teams have bad days.

They'll get things worked out. They just need to keep pace with Atlanta and even Tampa Bay is doing better than expected.

Was good to see Sharper back there today at least.

It was pretty obvious that the Saints didn't even bother making a plan for today. Apparently nobody reminded them that the Browns had lost, what, 4 games by a total of 6 points. Saints had three plays:

1) Run Ivory off-tackle
2) Screen pass for a loss
3) Brees throws a pick

Offense sucked - Brees was uncharacteristically bad but he was also getting hammered. Special teams was a fucking joke and the coach should be fired; actually he should have been fired weeks ago but this was shitty icing on a shitty cake. Lit up by a fake punt, lit up by a lateral on a kick return, and the only noteworthy thing we accomplished was paralyzing the guy who holds the sticks. GTFO.

Defense was actually pretty good.

Overall the Saints were painfully predictable; I anticipated about half of the plays and the Browns anticipated even more. The Browns, in stark contrast, were playing on a short field all night due to some unbelievable and flawlessly executed trick plays.

I guess being outcoached is a constant possibility now that everyone wants to beat the Saints, but come the fuck on. If you're just hoping that your receivers will be open, Brees will get sacked and he will get picked off. I guess the halfhearted screens were supposed to bail him out, but it got to be too obvious what Brees would do if nobody was open -- fucking commit and run a play once a while! Fuck!

Reggie's absence had really hurt the offense. Opposing teams must account for him with his explosiveness and doing so opens up the field for other players.  I had hoped they had that figured out after last week, then this.

I am still not going to panic since the Saints also hit a rough stretch last season but next week should tell us much more about this team.

Well put.

The D actually was pretty good.  The Browns O made how many appearances in our red zone and only got what, like 13 points?  The rest was on the Browns ST and D.

Our defense played like they were supposed to.  ST and O were atrocious.

If the Saints injured players return and they STILL suck, then I'll say something.

For now I'm going to bite my tongue.

I just hope that anyone running down the Saints are as effusive in their praise when they turn it around as they are on the negative side.

If you a saints fan, look out for the ref. What happened in miami was bullshit, like they really didn't see Alama Francis fall on that ball. The ref was from pittsburg and made a call that stole the game from us. How do you rule the fumble and not give us the ball, It was too clear, even the other ref saw it and said it was miami ball.

...And the Browns.

Makes it three straight years the Browns have beaten the defending champ.  As ad as they look most weeks, they play way over their heads sometimes, or way under it a lot of the time, who knows.

As for Miami, that game should have never come down to that call.  And with the rule the way it is, it was the only way the ref could call it.  Video evidence was required and video evidence was not available.  You can blame the ref or the rule if you want but doing that only distracts from improving the team.  How about getting some touchdowns after Pittsburgh fumbles twice in Dolphin territory?  How about getting some kind of drive together to at least get a shot at a game winning field goal?  How about winning one home game this season?

Steelers Saints this weekend should be a really good game.  Definitely a tough one to call.

Even though I'm a Steelers fan, I agree it wasn't the way I wanted to see them win the game.

It was a fucked up call to begin with, and honestly it looked like Miami had recovered it in the end zone.  The only Steeler who had a shot at it was Legursky, and he was pretty much surrounded by dolphins.
