I can't believe I never got around to watching this show

I downloaded the DVD rips but a show like this needs a bit of High def justice, so now I've stopped watching it and im downloading a 50gig 720p rip that'll be done tomorrow morning.. hopefully! I only got halfway through the first Ep but i'm already in love with it, especially the dialogue. That drunk guy talking shit to the bartender in the first episode had me :rofl:

Great casting, too.

HBO knows how to make a damn fine TV show. too bad they tend to cancel some of their best shows early on, like they did with Rome:nonono:

i started watching deadwood like a year and a half ago.  but i think i barely made it into the 2nd season.  i can't really remember. 

the problem was that i was watching it with a roommate, so that means we kinda had to have some coordination to watch it together, know what i mean?  like we'd both have to be home with the TV free and in the mood to watch deadwood versus some quick easy comedy.  and it also made it more difficult to just kinda watch a bunch all day with intermittent, random breaks.

but i definitely remember it being quality.  i'll need to re-familiarize myself with it and pick up where i left off.

WOW fucking gay! My torrent was going at 900kb/s connected with 5 seeds now its going strong at 4kb/s....., with 1 seed....... mine as well go back to watching the DVDs if it doesnt pick up soon :rolleyes:

you might want to consider playing with the priorities of specific files.  make the first couple of episodes the highest priority, and the rest the lowest.  when a high priority episode finishes, change it to lowest and change the next in line to highest.  i'm fairly certain that all torrent clients have the priority-setting capability.

deadwood is an amazing show. The character development is outstanding. It is the most real appearing western I have ever seen. I got hooked, probably seen the whole shebang like 5 times.

i'd still make the first few episodes highest priority.  it means you get to watch them before, rather than having to wait after the whole thing finishes.
