not your average mycena
    #13282824 -

i apaulogize for  no pictures. my friend needed to take his camera back. if someone could shoot me a species they think it might be so i can look at pictures i would be more then happy. i dont plan on eating this mushroom simply becuase its a mycena, i dont have pictures to properly ID it and it smelled like bleech lol. plus i got plenty of gyms to last me weeks.

Habitat:
in the united states, connecticut. old forest in my back yard. its been rainging alot and its the econd day after rain. it was growing out of the leaf litter.

Gills:
the gills where pure white, spaced well apart.

Stem:
the stem was very thin, getting thinner as it reached the ground. this mushroom was very small so the pure white stem was onlt about 1.5cm in lenght.

Cap:
the cap was very bell shaped/umbonated, it had crease lines from the center of the cap all the way to the margin like most mycena's.

the spore print:
i did not take one

Bruising:
this is what boggles me about this mycena. i thought maybe the stem was just naturally blue like a stropharia aurignosa, but when i pinched it where it wasnt blue it began to blue like a blue stainging bolete or a psilocybin containing mushroom

Other information:
the mushroom smelled a bit like bleach. the mushroom was no more them 1.5 cm in size and was growing by itself. it was the only one i found in the area.

this one was PURE white. not a single hughe og anything else. i think its unlikely i have mycena cyanorrhiza becuase they grow in high elevations right? and in places like switzerland at that.
