Mayhem Festival Alone?

should i go to it this sunday? Alone?

no one i know wants to go but i really would like to ...i just feel it might be lame alone in some ways...what do you all think?

korn is headlining who im a big fan of

mayhem festival sucks.  my friend asked me to go, as he does every year.  it always sucks.  they have like every hot topic "metal" band there you can imagine. 
it should be renamed try hard fest

Hmmmm...I would go to see Rob Zombie and Lamb of God, though. Rob always puts on a good show. I really loved seeing White Zombie's shows.

that's what I said.  lamb of god suck though, I think.  they're really good, technically, but the music is pretty empty in every other aspect.  but I did say rob zombie puts on a good show.  I'm pretty tired of festivals.  unless amon amarth is playing or zeppelin is touring again, I'm probably not gonna go to a big outdoor show. amon amarth put on killer shows.

yeah they pull a lot from AA on metalocalypse.  the synchronized headbanging and all.  but I haven't seen dethklok drinking mead from horns on stage yet.

I went to Ultra alone in 2006.  I loved every minute of it - met tons of cool people and had an unbelievable time.  Friends bugging me in the middle of an epic tune bugs the hell out of me.  :minigun:

Yeah, I hate when one of my friends keeps trying to hold a conversation over the music. That's one of my pet peeves.
