Where to sell my photography?

How do you guys find clients in your area?  How much should I ask for?

I want to make sets of 5-10 prints and number them and sign them

is this a good approach?

Search local galleries, privately owned frame stores, and flea markets.

Also see about selling to stock photo companies.

This is a full time gig for some people. There is a forum on the interwebz which I remember not the URL for, but is a great source for people looking to sell stock photos or vectors.

boutique shops work aslong as you preframe them and matte them up. Also DeviantArt but they dont offer much for price fluctuation. Establish a name for youself on there, it helps the main thing about being a commercial artist is proving yourself to the public and developing a style. Your photos are nice, you defintely have alot to offer, do you know much about post production? photoshop? curing levels? etc... if you really want to sell things you really need to offer something genuine, its alot like selling music, there are so many people out there trying to do the same thing, that you really need to give all your effort in becoming your own style.
