I'm pretty sure you have to show them youre in possesion of marijuana to get a tax stamp, and so youre breaking the law and cant have it.

i dunno, i didn't feel like reading it.  but i've heard about that catch 22 TTT mentioned whilst watching documentaries on MJ.

somewhere in there it states that you have to prove you have mj plants in order to obtain the stamp.  but of course if you prove to any gov't official that you possess mj plants, you'll be nabbed for possession.

i just don't feel like reading it.  i've heard about it, like i said, via documentaries.  i do find marijuana history interesting.  but i'm not all to jazzed about reading through a bunch of bureaucratic babble.  i hate reading laws, acts, bills etc.  they're all obscenely redundant in what i assume is an attempt to make sure every T is crossed a dozen times.

it just doesn't make for what i consider a good read.

but i'm aware of the act and aware of its consequences.  i don't see the need for me to read the ins and outs of an act regarding a stamp that will never even be issued.

and that antiquated act doesn't even really effect us.  its the drug scheduling that really effects us.  its what makes substances illegal.

I can legally possess plants/buds in my state...  I should really send in my dollar and get federally legal.  To whom do I make out the check?

It's totally worth a dollar to get a bunch of people to send in for tax stamps.

Denver has over 400 dispensaries...

You gotta get a medical recommendation to get or grow weed in CO, but the rec only costs 80 bucks or so, lasts for a year, and usually doesn't even require medical records.  The "maximum" you're allowed to grow is 6 plants, but the state board of health ruled that that's not a limit, just a recommendation.  Individual recommendations can be as high (heehee) as a physician wants.  I've literally seen a recommendation for a person to be legally allowed to grow 99 plants.
