i haven't witnessed it myself but i've heard from multiple promoters that he's the world's biggest titty baby. he also seems to treat his fanbase badly i.e. bad mouths them in interviews, gives them attitude when they approach him in public etc. total egomaniac. i really can't stand artists who behave this way.

i'm not a fan of either honestly. i'm buying that he's claiming innocence, but i'm not buying that he didn't pull that. from what i've been told by people who have no reason to lie he's a complete turd.

this happened a few years back and i can't recall the specifics, but there was a funny story circulating on my local board about how someone who had booked deadmau5 to play invited him out for a few beers to a weekly before he played that evening. it was something low key and the promoter was just trying to be nice and entertain the guy while he was in town. according to the promoter joel got completely pissed when nobody recognized him at the bar. lol.

I saw Deadmau5 live in Ybor last year. He puts on a pretty good show, and all the music he plays he created himself.
That said - I agree. I don't understand why he gets so much attention either.
His music is just alright to me.

i saw rusko in kansas city last week. (thankfully, i only had to pay 5 bucks to get in)

the show sucked. it was a boring ass night. i wish i had stayed home. the club was packed with a bunch of, and i this is the only way i know how to describe them, gay/metrosexual hipster kids... lots of raver kids there too. im starting to really dislike that scene... im tired of hoola hoops in clubs and other indoor venues. that shit needs to stay at festivals where theres more room.

anyway, rusko fuckin sucks. he sucks live as a DJ, and all his friends were tools. they seemed like a bunch of stuck up rich kids.
