Just watched EMINEMs set from last nights T in the Park.

He rocked the crowd,properly,
from front to back.

Twas a big crowd. :thumbup:

Personally he is one of my favorite rap/r&b artists

The whole package is what sells me on Eminem, plus he is rather intelligent in certain aspects

I love Eminem but I think it started going downhill after the Marshal Mathers LP. His latest album wasnt too bad though, I gotta give him that

except every album between marshal mathers LP and his latest sold huge numbers too...

i think the album infinite from when he was still underground is his best material.
he was into raving and acid/mushrooms/xtc and all that good stuff and it reflects through his music, infinite's great to listen to when frying :awesomenod:

His last album (Recovery) shows a lot of weakness as a human being form his part. Its just a big ego driven biography. If I wanted to hear a man cry about what women have done to him, how hard his life is, poor me, me me me me bull shit Id actually pay attention to women when they talk to me.

He made an entire album talking about himself and his probelms. Make 2-3 songs about your problems, get over it, grab your balls and be a man and move on.

Jedi Mind Tricks new album is much stronger. Chwck this song out if you want to hear hip hop that says something with a message and not just ego driven music.

I mean his older stuff was good, back late 90s/early 2000....

And it was good when i was in JR high....

But all of the newer stuff i've heard from him sounds like the rest of the mainstream shit these days...generic

we all know hippies only like hiphop with a message, this isnt a thread about jedi mind trix though it's eminem.

and even though alot of eminems material is hilarious shittalking to piss off the media, he speaks a good word in alot of tracks as well.

his latest album was deep, it takes alot to open up about some of the problems he's dealt with especially for a rapper in his position where people expect more comical/slanderous lyrics.

Iunderstand what your saying. Im a smoker, I grew up with hip hop. I like chillaxing witha spliff and jamming to some Noreaga, Gang Starr, etc

But honestly, I dont want to hear anyone cry about their problems. Stop justifying his bullshit. If your friend cried to you all day about his problems youd eventually tell him to let go and shut up. Eminem made almost an entire cd of depressive poor me songs.

I dont know about you but I dont want to hear anyone complaining and talking about themself for an hour. In this regard eminems new album is garbage.

His multis, wordplay, metaphors, were all nasty. But someone please get this guy a napkin and a eastern philosophy book about letting go of the ego.
