Can cops bust you if someone you knows simply goes to the cops and dobs you in?

Theres this kid, who is a little bitch. I pissed him off because he was harassing my friend who is a female.

I deal shrooms you see, and he knows this. he told me he's gonna go to the cops and dob me in. Such a little snitch.

Anyway, my question is will the cops do anything to try and find me/search me? Or will they just brush it off and not give a shit?

I live in Australia too if that helps with anything.

Depends if they show up with a warrant or not.

But someone snitching out of anger usually isn't cause. Like Anon 5 said, they'll send someone to ask you questions, and if you reek of illegal activity, they will investigate further.

I wouldn't open the door in the first place if they come to your house. Lay low for awhile, dispose of your grows/stash. Don't keep anything out in the open. Don't allow them into your house.
If they show up, tell them to wait one minute because you're getting dressed, and go out a secondary door to meet them outside.

And when they track you down to question you, after a few questions politely ask if you're under arrest or free to go. If they're going to detain you, they should do it immediately after you ask that question. Then you'll know. haha

Make sure you have a story about why the snitch has a vendetta against you, and make sure you lie as little as possible to appear legit.

I don't think the bitch will snitch, sounds like a hollow threat..... who is the first person your going to hunt down & beat the fuck out of if cops knock on your door.....? & he should know that. If not, make it clear next time you see him. Just be sure u keep your cool so he knows your serious, but not rattled.

Maybe lay low for a bit if you think he is that riled up he would be stupid enough to snitch on u, but he's gotta b pretty stupid.

IDK about Australian laws, but a friend of mine got pulled over because someone said he had a few pounds of pot in his car. They didn't find anything. He was known as a major drug dealer, so that might've changed the situation a bit.

OP:  Just don't keep any of your stuff on you for a few days, they probably won't do anything but if they DO?  There's no reason to act shifty.  Look *perturbed*.  Not pissed, not amused, annoyed.  That's the normal average-person reaction.  You just shake your head and tell them you half-expected this, then explain he had been harassing your g/f and you had told him to back the hell off, and he ran off crying about going to the cops or some shit.

We have had this happen to people here at shroomery and most definitely YES - they can and may get you and security precautions are well worth taking RIGHT NOW.
Almost exact thing happened and that guy had to move, pay lots of $$ and was busted.
Be warned and prepare...
