it's apparent that plurfekt is just venting his frustration over a
situation where he has no means of helping, it's the same reaction the
majority of us would have in the same situation, as I mentioned earlier
in the thread my sister went through the same thing with a guy she moved
in with and it was a situation where violence did in fact resolve it, I
beat the bastard bloody with a car antenna, his brother tried to defend
him and got a great deal of the same, I gave them the choice on their
next course of action, they made a wise decision, they left the state

my sister's first husband made the same mistake, I didnt have to go
after him, my sister smashed his face with something, it broke his
cheek, had the whole side of his head swollen, it was 6 years before
he hit her again... sometimes fighting back is the solution, the thing
is you have to show greater resolve in order to ensure they get the hint
you want to instill fear and to do that, you want to make sure they know
you're not above ending them

the best option is to start with a phone call to the police, but the
cops cant help someone that's willing to go back to someone abusive
