so they parted ways (the guy was in the port for his daughters wedding, she got in touch with him via cb radio i guess)

and he goes on to say, one of the folllowing days was a huge storm, no boats were leaving.

but looking out his window he saw one little boat, going over one huge wave after another.

i'll assume we can all guess who was the captain of that one little fearless boat.

Yeah, the gal I work with has a scar on her lip from one of her adventures.  She was delivering a boat from NZ to Hawaii to earn a little cash.  A freak monsoon rolled in.  She went down below to radio in their position.  Next thing she knows she wakes up 4 hours later still rocking and rolling but strapped into her birth.  Boat was de-masted and full of water. Her face hurt like hell.  Looking in the mirror she realized the guy she was sailing with had do do an emergency stitch job to her face while she was unconscious.    Freak wave rolled the boat over and she got pretty beat up.


Sounds scary.  But I'd still do it in a heartbeat :smile:

P.S.  Tramadol is kicking in nicely.  Gonna go play a level or 2 of Plants Vs ZOmbies.

Wooo! Been a while since I posted in LNC, been a while since I was on teh Shroomery! 45mg or so of Vyvanse and I forget how many beers. About to start on the whiskey! (Eagle Rare, 10 year single barrel. Good shit!)

for the nutella, do this. it rocks.

toast 2 pieces of bread

on 1 side put peanut butter, on the other put fluff, in the middle put nutella. did it the other day and it kicks ass.

ok, ok. so here's what went down. bear in mind I'm about 8-10 beers deep so bear with me a bit! haha!!!!


so, at my work, pretty much every cook sneaks out back and smokes up. nobody ever says anything. ever!
management, don't really care, so long as you don't throw it in their face and give them a reason to care.

so tonight I go out back and take literally TWO quick puffs off a bullet.

I go back in.

an hour later the GM calls me in the office. He says "I've had reports that you were smoking something other than Tobacco out back" I deny everything.

I get sent home and told to prepare a statement and come back in the next afternoon (tomorrow).  My statement is pretty solid and even mentions my random drug testing for probation.  The only people that were out back when I was smoking were both "friends" of mine (also, coincidentally both females; never slept with, nor even hit on either, for various reasons).  One was a friend I chill with fairly often. The other one is the first cousin of a GOOD friend.

Not sure who made what statement, but I know I've got an uphill battle. i'm expecting to be fired but it won't surprise me if I can weasel my way out of this with just a stern talking to.
