People who think with their emotions vs. people who think with logic

Seems that people who are more emotional are better suited for some things, and people who are more logic minded are better for others.

i personally don't get along as well with really emotional people. They frustrate me and I think it has to do with that people who are overly emotional are generally not as logical, or they are more likely to make stupid assumptions and play games as a defense mechanism, and look down on more logic minded people, and care too much about trivial social shit.

not to say that theres only these two types of people, but emotional people just seem self centered to me, even if they arent bad people so to speak.

logic and emotion are definitely two opposing forces in most cases, but I like people that have more emotion. I don't find any point in doing anything if I don't get some sort of feeling out of it in the end.

Given, people can get emotions from logical things, and logical people realize the logic in feeling emotion. It's a really fuzzy area that you are trying to generalize I think.

more logic oriented people are also self centered. Thats why emotional people are emotional and self centered because they know the logical people dont give a shit about them, like you just mentioned yourself.

one works with the mind the other the heart. i would generally say people who think with the mind rather than with the haert are more selfish, since they are only out for objective gain. How can that not be more selfish? I would have to agree that is material selfishness while people who think with the heart are spiritually selfish, yes.
although people who are materialistically selfish can also be spiritual selfish, as well as spiritually selfish people being materialistically self, or selfless people being blah balh you know...

I mean...

sophisticated logic as we know it is a purely human thing, shared in small fractions by animals, but emotions are largely an animal thing that were used in order to keep packs of wolves together; a social thing.

Sometimes being logical is illogical :shrug:

But to you and the OP, I wouldn't generalize this too much, I have met both kind of people. How you are outwardly to the world, and how you deal with it don't have anything to do with how self-centered you are.
