He is the shit.  What are your favorite paintings or works by him? Can anyone recommend a similar artist?

Check out Sasha Grey,not exactly the same but you'll be sure to get some enjoyment out of her work.:evil:

Joke aside he's great,pretty niche though but still has some amazing work,my favourite is ONE,wanted to get the poster but shiping would've cost 100 $ for a 10 $ poster:crankey:

Yeah those are both great ones, I actually bought the Hoffman poster from alexgrey.com, its framed in my basement :smile:

If you want a collection of his work for a somewhat nominal cost I recommend Transfigurations the book, or the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, they include many of his more famous works.

I'm more interested in his posters...one or two would be really great to look at and drift away when you need some off time...but as I understand it he only sells them on his site from the us,right?Or do you maybe know if they have a place in europe?

I've only seen them on that website, yeah the posters are the way to go, the book is big but the posters really allow you to see the detail and nuances of his work.
Oh yeah he's got a cool dvd (or two?) that could be better than a poster with a nice TV.

I think I saw that DVD at a club at some psy-party...didn't look to close but it sure fitted the mood,great visuals.
