Re: The demon has been expelled. Pod tea withdrawal is DONE [Re: Anonymous #14]

I'm not looking for any high 5's here.  I don't even know why I created this thread to begin with.  I'm done with pods though, and I will be saving this thread and posting back in 2-3 months with an update on whether I've succeeded in stopping my use or not.  I will of course be honest because this is anon anyway, so I've got no reason to lie to anyone or to myself.

Hey-- I'm proud of you for the move-- sincerely.

Just remember how long this road really is. It's worth every day-- but it's a looong road.

Best luck friend-- we are all here for you

Haha.  Read the last few posts in the thread first please.  It didn't take much convincing to get me to toss the rest of that shit out.

I'm so sick of watching you addicts puff up your feathers about how you've "quit"-- while saying you still haven't quit, or have been quit a whole three days, or plan to quit when your stash runs out.

You're a fucking addict.

You have NOT QUIT until you have fucking QUIT.

For a LONG TIME-- like YEARS. I'm speaking from experience, and you should know better too.

If you need support, then by all means, man-- I got your back and you're in my heart... but don't bullshit "quit" when you're clearly not and expect praise.

You're masturbating yourself here.

Quit looking for hi-5's until you deserve them.

Actually, you're the idiot. If you've never had a natural opiate habit, then in my opinion, you're not a real person. If you've never been dragged through the pits of hell for years straight by mother nature's sweet, sweet milk nectar, then you don't know from shit. And you should know that, saying what you said.

I did mushrooms and LSD in high doses, 500 mics at one time PLUS doses, cocaine, and herb for years, and thought I was spiritually aware, that I knew my shit. It took 7 years on natural opiates, (mostly pods) to show me who I really am.

Yeah, so don't go openin' your mouth on a man who is trying to get his shit together. But hey, I agree with you, this is prolly his first time quitting. He'll be into it again and again. Staring at the eye in the diamond in the sea of..... for too long .. and you think your situation is pretty important if you try to quit once. But really man, why even reply to this guy. You might as well tell him to order a few more boxes of pods, cause he's not gonna 'quit' until he's had enough. You know that.

Now I'm gonna try on this new penis pump. Hey, I gotta do something to keep me from grindin' up those pods.

I'm not clear on why you're calling me an idiot 16-- you agree with everything I'm saying. You know.
You know firsthand the same thing I do-- addiction isn't a carnival ride where you just hop off and proclaim your newfound freedom.

Your sarcasm ignores the fact that I support his hopes, and that I hold his wish for freedom dear--

Examine what the point of your post was-- I think we're both saying the same thing.

I must apologize. I only read the last half of your post at first, skimming, and wrote a reply. Then I read the rest of your post and thought differently. Quickly editing, I forgot to take the first part out. My bad.

Now here is a pure idiot. You were replying to me, right? Yeah, pure imbecile. Let us bask in his dim glory as we drink a cup of (tea), surely sharing no special secret.

Try holding the mirror right in front of you, instead of angling it at others.

 No, I am staying strong over here.  My main problem with pods was when I actually had them available for brewing.  Now that they're gone I am not missing them.  Like I said I will post an honest update in a couple of months as to whether or not I stuck with my plan of abstinence.  It's not like I'm going stone-cold sober, I still have psychedelics and plenty of herb to enjoy.

Whoh, you totally missed the entire point then. "Sober/Psychedelics/Herb"?? Wow. Look, you can do coke, mushies, lsd, and herb for years without a problem. Most of us can as long as we don't smoke the coke. But opies are a physical addiction. Your brain grows more opiate receptors to utilize the extra dope floating around in your brain. (You have to be using long enough for this to happen ie: months and months.) When you stop, those naked receptors are screaming for it, and it goes on for a long time.

So if you just laid them down without a problem, you never got close to having a problem. If you're looking to find yourself, keep using pods, but stay off the heroin. They're legal. Just always remember where you are with your habit and try to cut back/stop when appropriate. I know, it's bad advice for addiction, but very good advice for enlightenment. Mushrooms and psychs help as well.

I appreciate any advice offered, so thanks.  My habit was by no means large, but it did go on for quite some time.  I had used daily or nearly daily for roughly a year give or take a couple of months.  I stopped cold turkey but after day 4 or 5 I decided to brew up a -very- small cup just to help me get to sleep that night and it worked.  After that I abstained but still had a few grounds left in the container so I tossed them after a brief debate with myself.  I'm not looking back at all.  It was fun while it lasted but the time came to pay the piper and Pay I did.

Wow you are a fucking idiot. Opiates won't help you find yourself, but they might give you powerful experiences that give you forceful opinions about who you are.

Hey #1, if you don't mind me asking, how many pods did you use? Ie: 10 mediums per cup, 10 large per cup? Where are you getting them from.. because a few places sell pods without much morphine at all in them. If you were using daily for a year, you would have a near serious addiction if the pods were worth a fuck.. and if you were using normal amounts. (I used to use about 30 grams of good dried heads per cup = ~ 150mg morphine.) But that's like 15 or 20 heads per cup, twice a day.

Sorry to ask you this stuff, but I'm just curious. Did you have sickness/insanity going cold turkey? If not, your brain is built with a very strong affinity for opiate addiction, or your pods were very weak. For real, I used to get mine from cheap poppies dot com, and they were acceptable. (atleast 5mg morphine per gram). But I've had better.

Good luck, buddy, and if you weren't using the above hookup, I would try a medium head box just to know what real pods are. Sorry if I've missed it completely.

There was plenty of sickness, yes.  Insanity, not so much, other than me going insane wishing the W/D would end sooner.  I spent the majority of my time either shivering in bed or projectile vomiting/shitting on the toilet.  I couldn't even get out of bed in the morning without extreme effort, it was painful as fuck.  It felt like I had broken a collar bone or something when I would shift around.  It was bad, but after reading of accounts of others on here going through W/D, I feel very fortunate.

The pods themselves were strong.  I know source discussion isn't allowed, even in anon, but if you know of someone by the name of Sharon that used to sell on eBay, you know where my pods came from.  Potency was never a problem.  Though the last few months I was using, I wasn't getting high..I was just feeling "normal" after brewing up a cup.  That's the exact reason I decided to throw in the towel.  I wasn't getting anything in return for my trouble and I knew if I let it continue to go on, it would just get worse over time.

I don't know how much I was using per cup because I never weighed out my doses.  I can't even begin to estimate weight but it was like filling up half a tea cup worth.  Like I said my habit was relatively small compared to some.  I brewed 1-2 times daily, sometimes I'd go a day in between without just so I could "feel" the dose the next morning when I brewed.  Thanks for all the advice offered.

How so? How can asking you "what is enlightenment" be a contradiction?

I just think you don't know and being an opiate addict you don't have anything better to say because you spent too much of your life dazed out.
