an actual squat toilet makes the experience MUCH easier-- we are kinda just winging it with western style toilets.

i go barefoot, and it is hygenic unless your toilet seat is filthy already. It's not like shit flies out and sticks to your ankles. my feet don't get any more dirty from touching the toilet than my ass does.

but with either toilet, you learn fast-- and once you become customized to squatting you will realize just how much better it is for bowel movements.

What about just using leg power to hover over it?

On a night out recently,the toilet was in a state so I just hovered...I can't decide if it was better of worse.

I just tried this.

Results:
1. More uncomfortable than the regular sit and shit.
2. Potentially dangerous with socks on, I started slipping off.

My conclusion is that I prefer to sit on the shitter regularly rather than squat. I had a turd stuck, and once I re positioned myself to the regular stance, it came out easier than when I was squatting.

I just braved the squat. It made quite the splash but I kept clean:yesnod:

I sat down once the scud missiles had been deployed. After that,it was only shrapnel and stray bullets.

Moth while i was in india i really had to go and it just wasn't coming out. then i thought of you and this post. nd i squatted on the toilet for the first time. it came out real nice and i was thanking you in my head for it and burst out laughing.

but here's another question, and maybe dudes can shed some light on this topic but there are public urinals in india and i was eating at a restaurant and watching men come and go in these urinals on the street and i saw one guy squatting in it. he didn't have his pants down so i assume he was squatting and peeing? does it help you pee better to? i was really confused.

Well when you squat it puts more pressure on the bladder than standing does. When I'm on opiates I always sit when I pee. Standing while peeing on opiates is rather difficult sometimes/most of the time, sitting is no problem. So to answer your question, it probably does help, but I only know this from my use of opiates. Sober, you probably wouldnt notice much of a difference unless you have a hard time peeing anyway.
