Wow, that sounds intense. But in the grand scheme of things that can go wrong with your health, having to take shots isn't really that bad.

Are you taking a holistic approach, with low GI foods, exercise, and stress reduction?

I do watch what i take in alot more. but i can eat whatever i want just as long as i take a shot with each meal, bag of chips or whatever.

A side effect from having diabetes is that your blood flow and veins get beaten up. wounds will not heal as good anymore. changing blood sugar levels cause veins in your eyes to die off. which can turn you blind. i could lose my legs because wounds will not heal anymore and rot. its like Christmas. you'l never know what ya gonna get. kidney failure. and so on.

And a insulin pump will only be placed if your sugar levels are not manageable. it severely limits movements. not do-able in my life.

Sorry for bumping an old thread, but thought it was pretty relevant.

Maybe prostatitis... I got diagnosed a year ago. Does your crotchal area hurt? Including hips, legs, testes, whatnot. I've had it my whole life except it makes me piss the bed, especially if I drink. If you're not pissing yourself, it's not that bad and probably a lot more treatable than my condition. Anyway, check it out online.
