a) Cube 2: Hypercube: The finest cinema product to come out of cinema since cinema was filmed.

b) Would anybody be interested in some manner of MST3K online Netflix party at some point? I think this would be a cool group to do that with.

How do you do a netflix party? Do we make microwave popcorn and post on the message board like we're at a movie together or something?

For the record. I will make popcorn for everyone.

i believe they limit to 5 or 10 people.. i cant remember.

ustream would probably be better. someone has to stream it from their machine though.. not a big deal. there is a chat box next to the movie.

You would get everyone on ventrilo and we'd chat about the movie while we watch it! ahahaha


Shroomery really does need a ventrilo though. that'd be real cool.

just learned about skype. people in the pot thread are smoking weed with electronic vaporizers. still don't own an ipod yet.

i guess i'm just good ol pabst blue ribbon, roll my own joints, windows 98 man.

They have all the seasons of Columbo! I watch them all the time. If you dig classic whodunits, with the man Peter Falk, check them out!

Ok, here's my recipe for kettle corn. most cant resist.

Ingredients:
popcorn
sugar
salt
oil

USE CAUTION when dealing with molten sugar, aka natures napalm.

popcorn to sugar ratio is 2:1. so for the first time, put the amount of dry kernels in the pan
one layer if it's a wide pot
two layers if it's tall and skinny
then use a measuring cup to figure the amount of sugar.  That's HALF the amount of sugar.

when you buy your popcorn, ask for a paper bag, and have it ready to dump the popcorn in immediately after it is finished.

put the popcorn in the pan with some vegetable oil on HIGH heat. The oil should be half way up the kernels. Have your sugar measured out and a wooden spoon handy. after it starts to pop, pour the sugar over the kernels (try and spread it out) and stir the shit out of it for a few seconds until it starts to pop and get everywhere. put the lid on and shake back and forth. If it stopped popping you might not have enough heat. This happens with crappy stoves--sorry. It might still work, but sometimes you totally fuck it up and it's all lumpy.

as soon as it almost stops popping dump it in the bag as quickly as possible. This stuff can burn easily sometimes. Wear gloves if its near your hands. this stuff is deadly i swear.  Salt  the top, close the bag and shake the heck out of it. repeat a few times.  dont try and it it while its too hot or you'll loose some skin.

A wok is the best pan for the job. just let the pan cool and fill with water for awhile.
