'Black Ink' oil from skunk ash ????? {CONTAM}

i just got some buds.
lit up a spliff.

and noticing that the ash was hard -> (bummer)

i decided to crush it with some paper.... unveiling a true horror story.




this tiny little piece of ash when simply pressed on by the paper then moved in a circle;
produced a 2x2inch 'puddle' of squidgy liquid tar stuff.

it looks like a burst ink pen.. and is slimy and stains everything. almost looks like unrefined oil


it still got me high, and smelled/tasted fine  + no 'grittyness.
the horror.



anyone got any idea what the fuck the scrupulous bastards are doing to the weed now...

Seen that stuff around this time last year.. the bud doesn't look right either and it has a weird smell thats not overly strong and skunky. Tastes sort of like hair spray as well. Not good.

Glad I don't really blaze any more, I've bought a few suspect looking 10 bags.. I swear I shouldn't be getting this much "pollen" off of these comercial buds :eek:.

hi all.... it's 172 days since that ^ incidence with the sludge..

luckily i've only come across it again once... from a different dealer.
and it was skunk again.

but the damn stuff is still on my desk :grrr:
its sunk into the grains all over, and nothing... even bleach will get it off..

so my lungs must look beautiful..




i've stopped buying skunk.. to stop it happening again
how's the quality with everyone else??

10 months 4 days since first post. :

this particular contam is still going around and it's getting harder to spot too.

it's not just confined to skunk either.. - i got some 'oiled' mersh/commercial recently... and didn't believe it at first; as why would anyone go to that trouble over a bit of mersh?

a closer look showed it was all leaf and some very tiny - shitty.. buds - but it still weighed heavy.

(the smell which is very similar to the 'sludge' left in laughing gas dispensers - stinks!!)
it's got all over my desk and keyboard/mouse...
so whenever i use my mouse my hands reek of it and i have to wash them..
really bad - need to buy a new mouse...


so that's two sources i know regularly putting this shit out.

i've also got bad stuff from three other's..
two... which in addition to 'oiling' it had sprayed or marinated it somehow in fking glass... :mad2:

how to tell.
if it burns at all strangely try rubbing a bit of ash with your finger on a piece of paper...
if the 'smudge' is at all nasty looking...
-> try burning some of the weed in your hand...
      if it burns like cigarette tobacco would: molten/keeps burning.... then it's definitely bad

it's getting more frequent and harder to tell.
i feel very sorry for the newbies.

It's now sprayed with stuff called brix plus. The product is legally sold as far as I know to increase weed weights but it's no good. I was sent a link before but I can't find it now.

brix is something that is 'meant' to be sprayed on buds right?
- as far as i can tell.

but this stuff seems really nasty.

black ash usually means the grower didnt flush the the plants right before harvest.  (use only water for amount of time right before harvest).  This usually makes the smoke a lil harsher too...


whiter the ash, the cleaner and smoother the smoke. :stoned:

Im not sure how ash could turn into "black ink" :confused: .  maybe ur high and just playing with it too much... because ashes should be dry, not wet.

did you look at the video?

no way that is nutrient related..  the smell alone tells a different story.

and i've tested it side by side with normal bud.

using two sheets of cardboard (rizzla) to 'grind' the ash -> so as to stop it getting wet..
and the exact same result happened as you see in the video...
that pool of black stuff that he's dipping into... stays wet for hours, and stains things for years.
let alone my poor lungs.

ive been a smoker for 12 years.  ive never seen ash that turned into "black ink" after a period of time... that super weird.

We're not all exposed to top shit all the time like in Canada :superiority:

And that brix stuff is a legal product but any grower will tell you it's not good for the plant,you can see it on the stems easily,it's like dandruff or something,definitely not trichomes. It just adds weight,nothing else. I recall there being sugars in it that burn like that and sometimes crackle.

well i hope it's brix as you say... but i suspect it's something more sinister.
the u.k scene is bad atm.

i've heard some terrible things being done to weed in england.
- found large chunks of metal in brickweed
-skunk: etchants, crushed up glass, a smashed fluorescent bulb and the powder from within..
-the 'oil'
-powdered metals

No,no the brix isn't good for the plant or you at all. It must be like these bath salts and all this,false advertising,selling to cunt growers looking to bulk their weight. Not good at all.
