Mushrooms in Nebraska/Kansas?
    #1241096 - 01/22/03 09:28 PM (13 years, 10 months ago)

I like to hunt for morel mushrooms during the spring-summer and have recently decided that I would like to find other mushrooms while looking for morels.

I've read through nearly a year's worth of postings in here before I even registered, so I feel I'm fairly safe in asking: Any shrooms grow in the Nebraska/Kansas area?

I've spent a while digging around and the conclusion that I am lead to draw is that Nebraska and Kansas are . . . Shroom Free Zones.

So, anyone know of finds in that area, or is this midwestern guy plain out of luck?

I've found Subbalteatus in Lincoln, NE before. It was on dung in a field however...
