I'm not technophobic - in fact, I love technology. I just have no need for a cellphone. I use the phone maybe once or twice a week, at most.

I don't like texting mostly because I don't see it as being useful. Sure you could send a one word message to someone but if I only have one word to say to someone I don't find it necessary to talk to them. Its just another stupid pointless cool thing to do and the cell phone companies are lapping it up that everyone it so into that stupid crap.

If a girl is horny and your in public you leave and go home and fuck. No reason to add a cell phone into the equation of sex.

Texts can accomplish whatever the fuck you want them to.

I'm well aware of what the internet has to offer, I can even show you thousands of posts made by me on tech forums.

I just find it disturbing how people have such a negative opinion about people that use a technology. I find it particularly hypocritical when they convey their opinions through a technology very similar to the ones they complain about.
