That's how it was invented, dontchaknow.

In elementary school we always dipped our regular chips in ketchup.
They just don't make them pre-packaged ketchup flavored in the US because we aren't fucking weirdos.

I do love me some poutine though.

I have had ketchup chips before (in the USA).. I can't remember what brand. one of those off brands that you don't see everywhere, but mainly in liquor stores, gas stations, etc.

Ketchup is way over rated. I don't see the need to put it on chips.

Fuck yeah now you're talking.
Even though I don't eat chips usually.
But can't go wrong with wasabi flavored anything.. it's kind of like bacon.

just as putting chocolate and peanut butter together does not equal reeses peanut butter cups, chips and ketchup does not equal the magic of ketchup chips.

you haven't tried poutine until you have eaten some in quebec. kicked me in the face when i finally got around to that.

I wish we had them here; I have them whenever I go to Toronto.

No; I have to settle for dipping regular chips in ketchup.

I had poutine in ontario... close enough.

I've always wondered this....

At pizza places in the US... they call HAM... CANADIAN BACON

It's not canadian bacon it's fucking ham :crankey:

:crankey:

Do you guys call ham canadian bacon? Or is that just US stupidity?
