I think his beats are awesome.. His rapping is sub par? Who said he was the best rapper alive? I am more interested in the fact that I didn't even expect him to be AS GOOD of rapper as he is. It may be corny, but dude has got some flow and his lyrics really aren't that bad if you could just got over yourself for one minute.

And you really think his personality is the only thing that got him where he is? Almost 5 million views tell me otherwise. And if you really think everyone likes him just because of his personality you are so wrong it hurts.

I listen to his music because it is nice. There is no other reason behind it.

The only thing I have sensed from your posts are jealousy. Do you wish you had his skills that bad that you have to put down an obvious musical genius?

And to all that think he has some mental impairment..that is the most shallow thing I have heard. What? Just because he looks like that means something is wrong? I see the most open/free individual there who honestly loves what he is doing. And so what? Even if he was impaired what does that mean? He is doing a lot with his life...

i listen almost exclusively to breakbeats: hip hop, drum and bass, dubstep, breakbeat, IDM, trip hop.

listening to this, i don't hear complex arrangement, i don't hear modern sound synthesis, i don't hear subtle and profound mastering. the melodies are about what you'd expect from a decent keyboard player, but they're not profound.

I don't know man.  its just this is the 3rd or 4th post about this guy i've seen with people saying "holy shit this guy is blowing my mind" and skill wise its just not there.

then listen to the version you just made and the original. the mastering on that song is so subtle.  the sub is truely sublime. the timing variations and probably side chained compression the guy saying "a milli".
