As kids yes... As adults.. you'd think one would grow out of greed and hate eventually.

Yes we bombed them to the stone age how many times and that did what oh yeah 9/11. Maybe if we take the route of china and work with them and make fair trade deals we wouldnt have half the probelms we do now

nonsense .... everything changes....
some change just comes about slowly... When you're pushing war on people
for so long.. not much room is given for change. When you feel you're being
oppressed on an issue, you just cling to it that much tighter. You can see this
in any argument.

One might argue the Tamil tigers but I'm sure there will be a uprising eventual once the next generation gets a little older.

probably because we support the US gov. and UK with tax dollars and the US has been assfucking the middle east for a while only outlasted by the UK.  Although Bin Laden and Al Qaeda terrorists are extreme in most respects and dislike the "sinful" western culture that is not why they hate so much.  They want the west and particularly its powerful governments to stop supporting israel because of their poor human rights record, not have bases in saudi arabia because to them the entire country is the holly land and then leave middle eastern politics and leave "ISLAM" alone.  It seems somewhat reasonable to me as we'd all benefit.  We'd save money and lives, they would to, we could stop fighting to force western values on them and killing civilians and they would stop attacking civilians. Although they do hope to spread Islam throughout the world they(Islamic terrorists associated with al queada) wouldn't likely use violence in that persuit at this time.  It is the physical force used by the west that makes them believe an otherwise peaceful process of Jihad(which could be considered very roughly similar to the idea of missionaries in christianity) then gives them the right to "defend Islam" which to them means killing innocent civilians int acts of terrorism since they don't have the luxury of the worlds largest defense budget and they can't shell enemies with drones or cruise missles launched from hundreds of miles away.
