think of how terrorists are portrayed to us through propaganda in the media.

now think about what we are doing in foreign countries. Imposing our will in a multitude of ways, etc etc. Who's really the terrorists here? We are doing as much harm as good, if not more. The fact that we are there is causing more harm than good alone. There will never be peace with the current way we are handling the situations. No matter who we kill or capture, some other extremist will replace him, with a new found hatred for us. I don't necessarily blame them either...

It's the fact that America believes they are the police of the world. I'm not happy about being part of such a place, but hey, take what you can get.

Al Qaeda considers many of their fellow Muslims to be infidels.  They condemn Shiites as heretics.  That's fundamentalism for ya. :shrug:

I suppose. I always thought it was the fact that we worship hollywood actresses, watch too much TV, eat horrendous food, worship money and material items, spread sexual diseases, and live overall wreckless lives. :shrug:

indeed...

It wasn't very long ago the we were fundamentalist. As human morals evolved so did
religion. Which is a good and bad thing. Obviously killing people due to their beliefs is
wrong, but now we just take a more passive aggressive approach. So instead of
throwing out the system, it was just rewritten.. we better shaped it to fit our society.. 
inturn the roots have just re-grown. I don't see it coming to an end anytime
soon.

And from the perspective of many... it's most unfortunate. And then, many people
will disagree.... so on and so forth. haha

They're haters in the truest sense of the word.

I mean, didn't you guys hate that rich kid in high school who never got in trouble and could do whatever he wanted, even wrecking his BMW that he got for his 16th birthday and then his dad just buys him another one?

Everbody hated that guy, but he got laid all the time, had all the cool drugs, got to go to concerts, etc.

Did he deserve it? No.

Were we haters? Yes.

This is the way I see it.

Are we, as Americans, deserving of this hatred, or of the good fate to be so wealthy? Probably not.

If we were in their shoes, would we act the same? Absolutely.

Although I'm baked and my views on international politics and the Muslim Religion are skewed at best.
